Job Description :Our client is seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst – SCADA to join its Enterprise Networks team in Regina, SK!

Must Have Primary Skills :
  • Minimum five (5) years of recent, hands-on experience in network administration, analysis, and network design/architecture.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Spine-and-Leaf data center network architectures utilizing VXLAN with BGP EVPN.
  • Strong experience designing, implementing, configuring, and maintaining routing protocols, including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, including enterprise switches and routers.
  • Strong proficiency with Cisco command-line environments, including IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS.
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience with Fortinet security technologies, including:
  1. FortiManager
  2. FortiAnalyzer
  3. FortiNAC
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Azure networking resources, including:
  1. Virtual Networks (VNets)
  2. Virtual Network Peering
  3. Route Tables
  4. Azure Front Door
  5. Web Application Firewall (WAF)
  6. Network Security Groups (NSGs)
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s Licence or equivalent.
  • Must be available to work full-time onsite in Regina, SK, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Must be able to travel outside Regina, including occasional overnight stays when required.
  • Must be available to participate in an on-call rotation in one-week intervals.
  • Must be available to attend an in-person interview.


Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).Experience configuring and managing load balancers and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
  • Strong understanding and practical implementation of network security best practices.
  • Proven experience deploying network technologies as part of organizational technology projects.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary technical and project teams.
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise-scale networks and the integration of on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments.Experience with LTE and satellite communication technologies.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with ITIL frameworks and Change Management processes.
  • Experience operating, supporting, or administering Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks.
  • Previous professional experience in North America, particularly within a provincial government, Crown corporation, Oil & Gas transmission organization, utility, or comparable enterprise environment.


Proven Experience In :
The ideal candidate is a senior-level Network Analyst with a strong combination of enterprise networking, SCADA/OT networking, Cisco, Fortinet, data center networking, and Azure cloud networking expertise. They should be comfortable supporting mission-critical network environments while contributing to architecture, security, infrastructure modernization, and technology implementation initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Administer, implement, troubleshoot, and document the enterprise network to ensure its continuous and efficient operation, complete with thorough documentation.
  • Develop strategic plans for network device evolution, aligning with both current and future business needs and industry benchmarks.
  • Provide expert-level technical support, administration, and engineering for all Client's network devices to guarantee their optimal performance.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, swiftly troubleshoot and resolve any system issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Manage network disaster recovery processes, including meticulous planning, implementation, maintenance, and comprehensive testing.
  • Engage with corporate and field employees, promptly addressing technology concerns and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Implement network equipment updates in accordance with established company protocols to ensure ongoing security and functionality.
  • Maintain system integrity through effective change control, problem management procedures, and consistent communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of the latest networking technologies, certifications, and industry developments to maintain a high level of expertise and adaptability.
  • Contribute to departmental goals by organizing and overseeing work processes and fostering effective teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures in the execution of role responsibilities.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights and expertise to drive collective success.
  • Collaborate across diverse teams to develop scalable and adaptable network solutions.
  • Represent Digital Technology & Security with a commitment to the department's strategic goals and objectives.
