Job Description :Our client is looking for a Senior Purchasing Agent(SCMP, Financial) remote in Alberta.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• A university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, SCMP designation is an asset.
• 5+ years of procurement experience within the financial services industry
• Experience with public sector procurement including competitive bidding, working with domestic and international trade agreements
• Proficient in public procurement, competitive bidding process, and post contract management, can effectively handle high volumes of contract records.
• In-depth working knowledge of applicable trade agreements (CETA, CFTA, NWPTA) and relevant legislation (FOIPPA).
• Strong understanding of contract law and comfort using a variety of technologies and systems
• Exceptional skill in writing, reviewing, and editing procurement documentation (RFx, Statements of Work, contracts) with keen attention to detail.
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills using data to make informed decisions.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, can communicate well with business users from various backgrounds.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
