Job Description :Our client is looking for Service Desk/ Desktop Support in Edmonton!

Must Have Primary Skills :
  • Enrollment in a post-secondary IT, Computer Science, or related program
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting and repair knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office
  • Basic networking knowledge such as Wi-Fi and VPN is an asset


Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team


Proven Experience In :
Key responsibilities 
The role includes:
  • First-line help desk support by phone, email, or in person
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, application, and printer issues
  • Escalating complex issues to senior IT staff
  • Setting up and configuring computers, monitors, and other devices
  • Supporting desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Assisting with repairs and device maintenance
  • Tracking IT assets, software licenses, and peripherals
  • Helping inventory, redeployment, and return of equipment
  • Providing basic user training on hardware, software, and cybersecurity practices
  • Supporting IT admin tasks such as documentation, file organization, and reporting

    • Experience In at least 3 years of experience with/in service desk
