Job Description :Our client in Alberta is looking for a Database Developer(Python, Databricks)

Must Have Primary Skills :

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Analytics)
• 3 + years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines in Databricks
• 3 or more years of designing, developing and deploying business intelligence solutions and reports using Microsoft Power BI
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience working with DevOps pipelines continuous integration/delivery, and automated testing (unit, functional, performance
• Expert coding skills in Python, SQL and knowledge of software engineering principles around testing, code reviews, and deployment.
• 3 years demonstrated experience using Databricks, Pyspark and python
• Experience in data modeling and data transformation technologies such as dbt will be an asset.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot for development
• Experience in Investment Management, Banking, or Finance industry.
