Job Description :Our client is looking for a Senior Analyst who has experience with Investment Performance & Analytics. This is a REMOTE role across Canada.

Must Have Primary Skills :
- Education: University degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
- Experience with performance measurement & analytics in both public and private asset classes plus derivative instruments would be an asset.
- Working knowledge and experience in investment performance measurement, performance attribution methodologies, and global investment performance standards (GIPS) are strongly desirable.
-  Advanced understanding of the asset management industry, investment management process across a broad range of asset classes and strategies, including experience with complex investment instruments would be an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with valuation methodologies, accounting treatments would be an asset.
- Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and facilitation skills as well as the ability to establish effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of Simcorp and Sylvan would be an asset.
- Knowledge with different performance and/or risk analytics systems would be an asset.
- Ability to translate investment data information into meaning commentary is desirable.



Proven Experience In :
- Support analysts in monitoring, reporting, analyzing and advising on the performance of the investment portfolios, strategies, covering public, illiquid asset classes as well as clients.
- Assist in producing performance and attribution results to the Investment Management, Executive and other divisions to facilitate decision making, reporting, compensation and analytics.
- Participate in special projects, researching industry practices and developing new performance, attribution and analytics capabilities.
- Continually upgrading knowledge of performance and attribution methodologies, systems to improve productivity, increase the value of performance, attribution reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients.
- Review and approve daily and monthly performance and attribution reports prepared by the team. This includes reviewing analyst work, investigating performance and attribution issues and being accountable for the resolution issues.
- Monitor the implementation of approved changes to performance measurement systems and methodologies.
- Support analysts who are responsible for rotational deliverables on daily, monthly, quarter end tasks related to performance measurement, attribution, and project work.
